In the video above, K-State assistant coach Rodney Perry talked to Coach Carter, the subject of the movie of the same name that was made in 2005 starring Samuel L Jackson playing Coach Ken Carter, about the expectations of the K-State basketball team this fall.

“We plan on winning NOW!”

“Day one. Big 12 Championship is the first goal. Big 12 tournament Championship is the next goal. NCAA tournament, Final Four, NCAA Tournament Championship. That’s the goal for year number one.”

Alrighty then! I like to hear it! If you don’t set goals, you’ll never reach them. I will say this. I love how every coach on the basketball staff thinks just like this. Good stuff.
