I am a 1996 K-State graduate and have not missed a basketball or football game in person, on television or on the radio since 1991. I am a K-State sports fanatic that takes the happenings in college sports way too seriously. Hope you enjoy reading.

From The Couch – They Ain’t Dead Yet

“The Liberty Bowl is in play!”…One of my friends at halftime of the K-State/UCF game on Saturday. Said in jest, but that’s where we’re at with the 2025 version of K-State football. The Cats beat UCF 34-20 in front of a capacity crowd (more on that later) in Bill Snyder Family Stadium on Saturday. The old cliche “a win is a win” comes to mind when describing this game. It was ugly at times, exciting at times, nerve-racking at times,…

From The Couch – K-State Football Is Terrible

It has been a long time since I watched a K-State football game where I was pretty confident they would lose. Last night’s Arizona game was a debacle of epic proportions. K-State football is a mess, and don’t let Chris Klieman, Gene Taylor, Stan Weber, or anyone else tell you otherwise. This K-State team was picked as one of the favorites to win the Big 12 Conference in 2025….

2025 K-State Football Schedule Preview And Prediction

The 2025 college football season is upon us! K-State plays Iowa State a week from Saturday in Dublin, Ireland. That means it is time for my annual K-State football record prediction. I find it more difficult than ever to predict how the Big 12 Conference and K-State football will play out this year. The transfer portal raises more questions than it provides answers. Though the Big 12 is unpredictable, K-State is getting a lot of buzz as one of the…

From The Couch – The Best Basketball Roster That K-State Money Can Buy

“The goal is to have good players come back and want to come back. Players who want to wear this uniform, who want to represent Kansas State, and fall in love with what we are doing here. Seeing themselves progressing every day. That’s on us as a staff to have our program be that kind of place. Our community is that kind of place, our university is that kind of place. So, the goal is to build it here.”…Jerome Tang,…
