The saga of “the hats” continued last weekend in Manhattan, as the Ohio State hat made its way to Bill Snyder Family Stadium. If you’re not aware of the story, you can get caught up here. Ohio State fan Scott Thomas has been taking his K-State hat to all of the Ohio State football games this fall, but the Ohio State hat had yet to make the journey to Manhattan until last weekend when K-State fan Scott Thomas’ widow Melissa brought the hat to our tailgate honoring our friend. WIBW News was kind enough to stop by our tailgate to do a story about Scott. Melissa can be seen wearing the Ohio State hat in the video interview.

I was also honored to wear the hat. I never thought I’d wear Ohio State gear, but I made an exception in this case.

It was a great day honoring Scott and we had a great turnout.
