One of the biggest questions for K-State going into the 2024 football season is the offense breaking in a new quarterback with two new offensive coordinators, Conor Riley and Matt Wells. Officially, Riley is listed as the offensive coordinator and Wells is the co-offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach/associate head coach. College Football Report released this graphic of the top 20 Heisman contenders for 2024. Will Howard is number six and Avery Johnson is number 20. I’d put money on Howard before Johnson, just because the Heisman usually goes to the best quarterback on the best team, and I think Ohio State is more likely to be the best team than K-State it.
