From The Couch – K-State Loses To Iowa State In Final Regular Season Game

Chris Klieman couldn’t get out of his post-game press conference fast enough after K-State’s 29-21 loss to Iowa State on Saturday night. I watched the presser after the game. Klieman was irritated at the media and fans for being critical of him, his coaching staff, and his players. His message to the players post-game was to “play the bowl game.” My take from what he said is that he expects many of his players to leave via the transfer portal…

Can K-State Make The Big 12 Championship Game? Don’t Hold Your Breath

So you’re telling me there’s a chance? That’s right. K-State has an opportunity to make the Big 12 championship game if they beat Iowa State on Saturday night, but a LOT of other things have to fall their way for them to be one of the two teams selected. If the Wildcats beat the Cyclones, two of the other three first-place teams must lose, and even then a spot is still not guaranteed. Other tie-breakers would determine the two teams…

From The Couch – Too Many Unanswered Questions After K-State Football’s Embarrassing Loss To Arizona State

K-State’s playoff and Big 12 championship hopes are dead after a dreadful 24-14 loss to Arizona State on Saturday night in front of a sold-out crowd at Bill Snyder Family Stadium. The offense was miserable, the defense was pitiful, special teams were wretched, coaching decisions, especially offensive play-calls, were dismal, and even the public address announcer misidentified players on the field. Other than that, it was a great evening at The Bill! I haven’t been that angry walking out of…
