I watched the Kentucky game again, this time in “analysis mode.” A couple of comments… 1) Both teams were tight in the first couple of minutes. Kentucky actually ran a couple successful plays that got players wide open under the basket and the ball was either stolen, blocked or just plain missed by Kentucky players. Big game today against Loyola Chicago and Sister Jean for a chance to make the Final 4! Hope we can pull off the victory and go to San Antonio!
The last time K-State was in the Sweet 16 was in 2010. They played Xavier in a classic double overtime thriller won by the Cats. That team was led by Jacob Pullen and Denis Clemente and coached by Frank Martin.
