Kansas State Football NFL Draft Streak – 1996 Draft
1996 was the third year of K-State’s draft streak. Linebacker Percell Gaskins was the only K-State player selected in 1996, going in the fourth round, number 105 overall, to the St. Louis Rams.
Percell played in 15 games for the Rams in 1997 with one start, his only season in St. Louis. For the season he recorded 21 tackles and had one fumble recovery. He was waived after the season and was picked up by the Carolina Panthers. He played 12 games for the Carolina Panthers in 1998, recording three tackles. His NFL stats from FoxSports are below:
Gaskins also ran track at K-State and was the 1993 indoor high jump national champion. I found an archived Sports Illustrated article featuring Gaskins from August 30th, 1993: https://www.si.com/vault/1993/08/30/129177/division-i-a-93-percell-gaskins-. Pretty interesting looking back at what people were saying about him at the time.
Next up: 1997.

You should add a “where are they now” element to your posts.
Yeah, I will if I can find it.
