1996 was the third year of K-State’s draft streak. Linebacker Percell Gaskins was the only K-State player selected in 1996, going in the fourth round, number 105 overall, to the St. Louis Rams. Percell played in 15 games for the Rams in 1997 with one start, his only season in St. Louis. For the season he recorded 21 tackles and had one fumble recovery.
