K-State Women Beat Number 13 Baylor On The Road
The newly number our ranked K-State women’s basketball team beat the Baylor Bears in Waco on Monday night by the score of 58 to 55. This was a huge win for the Wildcats, as they were without star forward Ayoka Lee, who is recovering from ankle surgery. K-State trailed by 13 at halftime, but slowly crawled back into the game in the second half and eventually took the lead.
Three Wildcats scored 16 points in the victory. Gabby Gregory, Serena Sundell, and sophomore Eliza Maupin. Maupin was a prefect six of six from the field and also led the Wildcats in rebounds with nine.
Up next is a matchup against BYU on Saturday at 4:00 in Bramlage Coliseum. The game will be broadcast on ESPN Plus.
