K-State Men Lose By One To Texas Tech
“Tough” is an understatement. K-State lost 60-59 in a back-and-forth nail biter. Texas Tech got out to an early lead, but K-State went on a 20-0 run late in the first half led by a very hot Tylor Perry. Then the Wildcats went cold in the second half and allowed Tech to get back in it. K-State had the ball down one point with seven seconds left and called timeout. Tylor Perry was the only one to touch the ball on the inbound, and he dribbled around until he was able to shoot an off-balanced shot that missed. The referees realized that the clock didn’t start on the last possession and went to the monitor and after a few minutes decided the game was over. This was a winnable game, but it wasn’t meant to be. The Wildcats drop to 2-1 in the Big 12 with the loss.
