From The Couch – The Latest From K-State Twitter

I took a little break from the blog after football season to get ready for Christmas and to spend some time with friends and family, but it’s time to get to blogging again. Let’s take a look at the latest K-State news from the Twitterverse…..

JM: My condolences to the many friends and family of Joan Friederich. You can view her obituary here. Joan was the administrative assistant for Bill Snyder through his tenure as head football coach. The fact that Coach Snyder said it was one of the saddest days of his life shows just how close they were.

JM: Michael Beasley has been busy on Twitter lately. He’s trying his best to get back into the NBA.

JM: At least he doesn’t lack confidence.

JM: But he still finds the time to follow politics!

JM: Yes you were, Mr. Bishop.

JM: I might be tempted to go if it was dollar beer night.

JM: North Florida replaces Morgan State on the basketball schedule due to covid-related issues on their team. At the rate that football and basketball games around the country are getting canceled, I doubt we’re going to get a full basketball season.

JM: This is great news for the Wildcat football team. Eli Huggins was a big part of the K-State defense in 2021 and will return for the 2022 season. The Wildcat defensive line has a bunch of studs on it and it will be a lot of fun to watch.
