From The Couch – Lamar Hurd Shows Us The Humble Beginnings of Jerome Tang

Lamar Hurd played basketball for new K-State head coach Jerome Tang at Heritage Christian High School in Cleveland, Texas, graduating in 2002. He went on to play college basketball at Oregon State and is currently the television analyst for the Portland Trail Blazers. He was taken in by the Tang family when he was 11 years old and is still very close to them When he heard that Jerome Tang was hired at K-State, he did a video blog showing the building where Heritage Christian High School used to be, now a barbecue restaurant, and also showing the outside of the Tang home. I thought the video and Lamar’s comments under the video are really neat so I thought I’d share them. Once you watch the video, you’ll realize why it’s titled “humble beginnings.”
