From The Couch – K-State Baseball Makes Big 12 Tournament Semifinals
The K-State baseball team beat Texas Tech last night in extra innings to advance to the Big 12 tournament semifinals today. Here are a couple of write-ups about the game….
JM: K-State will have to beat Oklahoma twice today in order to advance to tomorrow’s finals. It will be a tough task. Oklahoma is currently ranked in the top 20 and is one of the favorites to win the tournament. The first game is at 12:30 and will be broadcast on ESPN+. If the Cats lose, they’re out. Here’s a pretty good recap of last night’s game….
JM: This was a surprising upset win for the Wildcats. I haven’t followed the team very closely this season, but I’ve seen some fans on social media complaining about how they have been playing and calling for head coach Pete Hughes to be fired.
JM: I might check out the game today. Hopefully there will be two games to watch!
