It has been an awful week for Jerome Tang and K-State basketball, with three bad double-digit losses in a row, each giving K-State a poor look for different reasons. The newly number our ranked K-State women’s basketball team beat the Baylor Bears in Waco on Monday night by the score of 58 to 55. This was a huge win for the Wildcats, as they were without star forward Ayoka Lee, who is recovering from ankle surgery. K-State trailed by 13 at halftime, but slowly crawled back into the game in the second half and eventually took the lead. Three Wildcats scored 16 points in the victory. Gabby Gregory, Serena…

K-State forward Arthur Kaluma was selected Big 12 newcomer of the week after he averaged 17.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in K-State’s victories over number nine Baylor and Oklahoma State. Kaluma hit the game winning three-point shot in overtime against Baylor. He was a big reason, and maybe THE reason that K-State got the two victories. Congratulations, Arthur.

It is kind of different for a coach to offer up a bedroom to fans that can’t find a hotel room in Manhattan, but Jerome Tang is a different guy. Although this was said in a joking manner, Coach Tang would like to see a sellout against Baylor tomorrow night! The game will be broadcast on ESPN Plus at 7:00.
