The Big 12 Is Boring

Last night KU basketball and Oklahoma football played games at almost exactly the same time.  Of course both won, which surprised nobody who follows this league.  The Big 12 has become downright boring. Oklahoma has won the football championship 11 times since the year 2000, including the last three titles, and will win their fourth straight after beating Texas in the Big 12 championship next weekend. Barry Brown will test the NBA draft waters

Barry Brown declared for the NBA draft tonight but will not hire an agent.  This will allow him to retain all eligibility and return to school for his senior season should he choose to do so. It’s probably a smart thing to go through the process and let the NBA tell him where he stands and what he needs to work on in order to have a good opportunity to get drafted next year.

K-State Basketball – Looking ahead to next season

After a disappointing loss to Loyola Chicago in the Elite 8, K-State basketball is done for the season.
