247Sports released their bowl and playoff projections for 2024 and they have K-State playing the Texas Longorns in the quarterfinals of the College Football Playoff. This would be great for me to see K-State get revenge on Texas for the loss in Austin in 2023. While the Wildcats making the College Football Playoff isn’t out of the question, matching up against the Longhorns probably isn’t very likely to happen. Regardless, it’s nice to see K-State get some buzz already.

“Tough” is an understatement. K-State lost 60-59 in a back-and-forth nail biter. Texas Tech got out to an early lead, but K-State went on a 20-0 run late in the first half led by a very hot Tylor Perry. K-State Women Beat Number 10 Texas

The K-State women’s basketball team beat the number 10 Texas Longhorns on Saturday afternoon by a score of 61 to 58. It was a close game throughout. Ayoka Lee recorded her 55th career double-double with 21 points, 10 rebounds, and four blocked shots. Zyanna Walker hit a buzzer beater three pointer at the end of the third quarter to give K-State a one-point lead and they never looked back.
