The fourth installment of “Profiles In K-State Fandom” features Bucky Bucholtz. You may recognize Bucky at K-State games wearing his purple cheesehead. As I watched K-State lose to Iowa State (76-57) in the Big 12 tournament, still needing a win or two to make the NCAA tournament, it reminded me of the first game the Wildcats played this season against USC. The K-State women lost to Texas in the Big 12 semifinals on Monday by the score of 71-64. K-State took a two point lead late in the fourth quarter but couldn’t keep it. It is on to the NCAA tournament for them.
