The K-State Women’s basketball team beat Washington State 50-40 in the first round of the women’s NCAA tournament today. K-State got off to a slow start and fell behind early, but kept plugging away and finally made some shots and got Ayoka Lee going to earn the 10 point victory. The K-State women’s basketball team beat Texas Tech last night to improve to 7-4 in the Big 12 conference and 17-6 overall. Ayoka Lee had 31 points in the game and surpassed the 1,500 point mark for her career, now with 1,503 career points.
