They ain’t dead yet! The K-State Men’s basketball team has won four out of their last five games, beating West Virginia 78-73 on Monday night. They are even showing up in some Bracketology, appearing with the group of “next four out” teams on Joe Lunardi’s bracket release Tuesday morning. It was a, shall we say, interesting win against Iowa State yesterday? The Wildcats got behind 13-0 to start the game, but clawed their way back to send the game into overtime. An overtime session that they dominated, eventually winning 75-69. The team and some fans celebrated beating the last-place Iowa State Cyclones like they had just won the national championship. The K-State basketball team has won two in a row, and a big reason is sophomore Nijel Pack. Pack hit the game-winning three-pointer while scoring 22 points against Oklahoma State and followed that up with a 20-point game in a victory against TCU on Saturday.
