From The Couch – New Linebackers Coach, K-State/Oklahoma State Reaction, Murphy Surgery, K-State Pro Day

From The Couch – New Linebackers Coach, K-State/Oklahoma State Reaction, Murphy Surgery, K-State Pro Day

Another disappointing loss for K-State basketball last night, losing 69-63 to Oklahoma State.  We’ll start there… “We knew it would be a hard-fought game. Guys gave us their all. They gave us a chance, but just can’t get over the hump. It’s hard. I don’t know if I have much emotion left, I’ll be honest. And the other thing is, we’re right there (losing a lot of close games), so that even makes it even more, it takes the emotion…

Reviewing The Season And Looking To The Future

Reviewing The Season And Looking To The Future

I have yet to find someone that isn’t pleasantly surprised with K-State football this season under first year coach Chris Klieman.  A lot of people were skeptical of the hire when it was announced because it wasn’t a splashy hire and Klieman hadn’t ever coached at this level.  Fast forward almost a year later and Klieman is getting mentioned as a coach of the year candidate after leading K-State to an 8-4 record.  Let’s take a look at how the…

K-State/West Virginia Game Thoughts – Enough Of Second And Long!

K-State/West Virginia Game Thoughts – Enough Of Second And Long!

It was a second straight disappointing loss for K-State Football on Saturday, losing 24-20 to West Virginia in a game they could have won at the end if not for a Skylar Thompson interception. K-State’s Big 12 Title Game Chances

K-State’s Big 12 Title Game Chances

K-State played a great game Saturday against KU, winning 38-10.  Skylar Thompson ran for 127 yards and three touchdowns and passed for 129 yards.  This one reminded me a little bit of the way Bill Snyder’s teams used to manhandle Kansas.  While this was the 11th victory in a row against Kansas, it was the biggest margin of victory since a 45-14 drubbing of the Jayhawks in 2015. Les Miles provided K-State with some bulletin board material when a viral…

Chris Klieman on Big 12 Teleconference

Here’s a link to a transcript of Chris Klieman on the Bit 12 Teleconference today.  The biggest thing he said was that Malik Knowles is probably doubtful to practice this week or to play Saturday. https://247sports.com/college/kansas-state/Article/Kansas-State-football-2019-Chris-Klieman-Big-12-football-coaches-teleconference–136967912/
